1. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR. It applies to njoy.consulting and related pages hosted by NJoy Consulting.
2. Analytics (traffic sources only)
We use Google Analytics and Bing Webmaster Tools / Bing analytics only to understand where website traffic comes from and how pages are used at an aggregate level (for example referral source, landing page, device type, and approximate location).
- These tools may set cookies or similar technologies and process online identifiers such as IP address (often truncated) and browser information.
- We do not use Google Analytics or Bing analytics to build advertising profiles, run remarketing, or sell your data.
- You can control cookies in your browser settings, and you may use Google’s or Microsoft’s published opt-out tools where available.
3. Information you send us
If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the details you provide (typically name, email address, optional messaging apps, and your message). We use this only to reply to your enquiry and to keep a record of the conversation.
Contact submissions may be delivered to us by email and/or a private messaging channel we use to manage enquiries. We do not sell or rent this information.
4. AI website readiness scanner
When you run the AI website readiness scanner, we record the submitted domain, selected business type, scan date, latest score, readiness band and number of scans for that domain. We use this information to understand use of the tool, improve its checks and identify potential case studies.
- Fetched page content and visitor IP addresses are not stored in the scanner analytics record.
- A site is never presented publicly as a case study or showcase solely because it was scanned. NJoy Consulting records a separate manual confirmation only after permission has been obtained.
- Scan analytics are stored in Cloudflare and are available only through a protected internal dashboard.
5. Hosting and security
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical request data (such as IP address, user agent, and security logs) to deliver the site securely and to protect against abuse.
6. Legal bases
We process analytics data on the basis of legitimate interests (understanding and improving the website) and, where required, consent for non-essential cookies. We process contact enquiries to take steps at your request and to pursue legitimate interests in running the business and responding to you.
7. How long we keep data
Analytics retention follows the settings in Google Analytics and Bing. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any related follow-up, then deleted or archived in the ordinary course of business.
8. Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the site and communications (for example Cloudflare, Google, Microsoft/Bing, and our email provider), and only as needed for those purposes. We do not sell personal data.
9. Your rights
Under UK law you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello at njoy dot consulting. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
10. Children
This website is aimed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
